  • 1 cup of warm milk (250 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of powdered mustard seeds (2 g)


Heat the cup of milk and add the powdered mustard seeds.

Mode of consumption

  • Continue the treatment for the duration of the cycle.

3. Milk thistle seeds

4. Apple cider vinegar and honey

  • 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar (10 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)


  • First, dilute a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water.
  • Afterwards, sweeten with honey and drink.

Mode of consumption

Drink one cup before each main meal for the duration of your menstrual cycle.

5. Licorice

  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon of licorice root (5 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g) (optional)


  • First, put the water in a saucepan to heat up.
  • As soon as it starts to boil, pour the licorice root, lower the heat and let it boil for another 2/3 minutes.
  • Then, remove the herbal tea from the heat and let it rest for another 10 minutes at room temperature.
  • Finally, filter and, if you prefer, sweeten it with a little honey.

Mode of consumption

Drink 2 or 3 cups of licorice tea a day, two days before your period starts.

Note: Avoid this remedy if you have high blood pressure, kidney failure or diabetes.
